Reconnect

I’ve been kind of unplugged for the last few weeks—as it seems many people have. Doing what I can to take care of my small portion of the world, doing what I can to be kind to my self and others, doing what I can to find the balance between awareness and overwhelm… I admit, I have sometimes found myself feeling, “Everything that I care about, I can’t do anything about. What else matters?” But that’s really a falsehood. We can do small acts when we can’t do big ones. And, I have a feeling, the small acts are not as small as we may think they are. We dismantle and we build on all levels.

Now, I’m feeling the September shift— in the weather, in the season, in the energy. It’s time to move forward! Time to reconnect with self and community.

Who Are You Now?

I’ll bet you’re not the same person you were last spring. Who are you now? Think about joining our upcoming Inner+Outer Journaling course. We all need satisfying ways to connect and communicate with our inner selves, and with each other. If you know me, you know what I’m going to say next: the creative process is a fantastic way to accomplish both. Engaging with others in open-ended creative exploration, you discover things about yourself and build community at the same time.

Think of the journal as the conduit through which inner and outer awareness flow, mixing and mingling in between. A small, facilitated, regular group encourages deeper exploration and more extended sharing. The 4-week timeline supports developing and maintaining your consistent journaling practice. September Inner+Outer Journaling begins this Thursday, September 10, and runs through October 1. Each week includes a group meeting from 1-2:30 pm ET via Zoom, along with guided meditation and journaling prompts, a weekly challenge, and a video lesson.

Edit: September 2020 Inner+Outer Journaling has come and gone…But you can catch the next one coming up in January 2021. Check it out!

We support your creative expression, and the conversations and discoveries that go along with it. With imagination, we’re finding new ways to connect and express.
