Finding New Ways to Connect and Express with Imagination

The world is always changing, right? But sometimes it feels like the unknown is flooding in from all directions. How to face it? With imagination.

With imagination, we can tune into where we are and work with what we’ve got. And, with imagination, we'll find new ways.

It's no revelation to say that we can become anxious in the face of too many unknowns. What to do? Well…On the most immediate level, the best cure for anxiety— hands down— is to make something. I should say, hands IN! Channel your tail-chasing energy into a project. Before you know it, you'll be focused on the project at hand and other concerns fall away. That’s a simple truth.

On a deeper level, creativity is always a process of engaging with the unknown. To create is to bring forth something new, something that hasn’t existed before. A regular practice of creativity allows us to work imaginatively with the unknowns in our lives, and get to know them a little better. They become less scary as we give them shape and definition.

Mythos-Sphere is all about creative expression. Our community supports you in your creative practice, wherever you are with it. Maybe you’re feeling outside of it, or deeply engaged with it, or maybe, like me, you meander back and forth. Join one of our upcoming courses! With imagination, we're finding new ways to connect and express.
